While financial inclusion can be a driving force for women empowerment and equality, we struggle to measure what kind of impact financial products and services have on greater social inclusion for women. In addition, women confront greater financial exclusion than men in every region and across each income level. This session will discuss how we can measure impact and the tools and resources that can improve women’s social inclusion and increase their economic empowerment. We’ll also delve into innovations that are helping close the gender gap in financial inclusion and ways to improve access, capabilities, and usage for women.
