Eric Noggle, Research Director, Microfinance Opportunities
Eric is the Research Director at Microfinance Opportunities. He manages the organization’s research projects from genesis to completion.
Eric studies the financial behavior of low-income households and the implications of that behavior for promoting financial inclusion. He specializes in Financial Diaries—high-frequency, panel surveys that collect multi-dimensional data on low-income households’ cash flows—and consumers’ use of digital financial services. He has managed projects in Central America, South Asia, and Southern Africa.
Eric holds a Master in Public Administration degree with a focus on International Development and Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
