Mulugeta Bedanea, REST/USAID Program Focal Person, REST
Mulugeta Berhanu is a rural development specialist with over 20 years work experience in managing a broad set of environmental and livelihood programs implemented by REST in Ethiopia. He has served as senior program advisor for the World Bank, CGAP Ford foundation “Graduation Model Pilot project” implemented by REST in Tigray, Ethiopia from 2010 to 2012.
Currently, he is serving as focal person for USAID supported Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) at REST. He has extensive experience in the development aspect of rural micro financial services and the linkage to livelihood program. He studied Master of Arts in Agriculture and Rural Development, from the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague Netherlands, 2003-2004 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, 1989-1994
